I want to replace the rear coil springs on my 1982 Trans Am Recaro that I have owned since it was new.
I am replacing the gas tank and have the rear end out, and I thought it was a good idea to replace many of the parts, including the springs.
It has the WS6 suspension with disc brakes in the rear.
When I look at suppliers for rear springs, I don't find any mention of the difference for rear springs for WS6 suspension.
Is there a specific part number or some other way to specify them that will make sure I get the correct springs?
Are they different from the regular rear springs?
I assume they are, am I correct?
What do I need to know?
Any help or guidance will be appreciated.
I am replacing most components, and it makes sense to replace the springs.
The gas tank is being replaced along with the panhard bar, trailing arms, etc.
