Got a 77 TA with a noise that can only be heared from inside the car.

Its there when I rev up the engine and it sounds like connecting rod bearings or some crankbearing knocking.

Sometimes the noise dissapears completely.

I’ve checked the flexplate bolts and tried to listen to the engine under the hood but no sound from under there.

Can you post a video of the sound your hearing?


Black 1989 Pontiac Formula Firebird 5.7L, WS6, automatic, T-tops, all OEM...
