Hello everyone!

So a few months ago, my windshield wipers decided to throw themselves apart, snap the pivot pin, and strip the driver-side post.

Ive sourced a new linkage set, but it did not come with a new pin, and I can not find one anywhere.

Could someone please tell me where I can find and buy one of these elusive pins that no longer seem to exist?

Also, if you personally have some you don't mind selling, I'll buy them from you as well.

I'm willing to pay $50 just for a single little pin and clip at this point, LMFAO.

Old post. Do you mean this pin or stud that the conjugating arm follower attaches to? These are part of the linkage on ever used set and now available in reproduction too. I'm not sure on the sliding retainer clip, I guess pics will show it on repro unit. You bought a new unit and it didn't have it? What did you buy? Be aware, and for others, that the hide-away wipers use 3-bolt mounts, standard wipers like on Camaro use 2-bolts. Don't have to guess.

Yes, that lil pin is impossible to find on its own. I order the linkage set through classic industries and it did not come with. Ive also called classic industries to see if they have some and forgot it or sell them separately and they dont have any at all. I have found some but their all for oldsmobile or chevels ect... which are a smaller diameter than the one my trans am uses. If you have any, ill buy a couple from ya or if you know exactly where i could find them I would greatly appreciate the help!! I still have my clip and ive been able to find those but the articulating arm pin is impossible to find.

That's weird, not sure why anyone would sell the unit without a crucial part if it. And no, no one is going to sell just the pin either.

Just had a quick look at 4 shops with the 'OER Authorized set', including the shop in Australia that likely manufactures them, all show them as complete in photos used, and no mention otherwise, which would be required. Sounds like you got a dud set, I'd get in touch with them and point it out, not request a separate part that they wouldn't have. Not the best pics, but definitely there in other pics that aren't not easily saved.
