I have a 1978 original solar gold trans am non-Y88 car.

Just in the planning stages now, plan to start this summer.

I like the Y88 brown pin strips and am considering adding them even though they are incorrect for the car.

Are all the Y88 cars equipped with T-tops?

My car does not have them, and I'm unsure if I should install the stripes on the roof.

Yes, every single Y88 had T-Tops.

There are zero documented Y88s with a hardtop roof.
