I Just Bought A 1985 Trans Am

New to the forums.

I just bought a 1985 TA with a crate replacement 5.7L.

She is worn but beautiful.

Automatic.

What would you guys suggest I do first?

Nice ride!

First, I would change the air filter to all the fluids/trans, including the rear diff.

Redo or remove that window tint, check all your rubber door seals, especially the T-tops, and replace them if needed.

Check the brake system and replace the brake fluid along with the power steering fluid.

Check the date code and the condition of the tires. If they are old, I would replace them.

Also, check your rear spoiler for leaks or rust on the deck lid.

208kms (Canada) on the chassis.

The engine was replaced 5k ago.

There is no rust at all, which is nuts.
