I’m thinking of getting another Trans Am.

The first car I had was a 1970 Formula 400.

Then I got into a 1993 Trans Am, but now I’m thinking of returning to the Pontiac muscle.

I’ve never owned a 3d Gen Trans Am.

I had a 3d Gen Camaro, but the style just wasn’t me.

I love the 3d Gen Trans Am, but they don’t seem to have any HP to speak of, but I do like the 4th Gen as well.

I am looking at a 1997 Trans Am and a 1994 Trans Am.

Any thoughts on the two?

Thanks

Having owned two 3rd gens ('90 GTA AND '92 Formula) with the 350 TPI, the 4th gens (with either the LT350 or the more powerful LS engines) ran MUCH stronger and also got better gas mileage when driven conservatively.

The ''98 Formula with the 320 Horsepower Ram Air option was an INSANE performer who regularly got mileage in the upper 20s on the highway.

No 3rd generation could come close to that, period.
