Here’s my 1976 50th, and it has just turned 40,000 original miles.
It still drives like new after a complete front-end rubber rebuild, complete rear rubber rebuild, and replacement OEM body bushings.
The carb has been rebuilt with neoprene that helps with the new methanol gasoline mixtures, but it still gets additional Zinc from every oil change thanks to an additive that allows my flat-tapped lifters.
I have all the original stuff, but I replaced the plug wires with date-coded ones that look like new ones made, along with a new cap, rotor, and coil.
