Norwood Built 1978 TAs Build Dates?

Hey everyone, I have a Martinique Blue W72 WS6 4 spd project i recently picked up, but the cowl tag is unfortunately missing.

I am trying to gauge what week my car was built as closely and accurately as possible.

Right now, im down to either the 05E or 06A for Norwood-built cars! Does anyone have a car that was built in either of those two weeks?

I want to have a new cowl tag made, but I want it to be as accurate as possible with the sequence numbers, etc.

Have you contacted Pontiac Historic Services?

They have all that stuff on file, I believe Jim Mattson, former Pontiac engineer, runs PHS.

I got documents for both of my Pontiacs from PHS, including a reproduction of the factory window stickers.

PHS puts together a nice packet with copies of all the documents for your car.

I think the service is around 95 bucks, but you get copies of all the docs for YOUR car, not just generic copies, well worth it.
