I have a 1977 Firebird Esprit.
The previous owner had an alarm system on it that didn't work, so I removed it.
Now I have a "gate ajar" warning light on the panel when I headlights on.
I can't find this circuit on any electrical print. I guess it has something to do with the trunk switch or the hood switch.
He had obviously either added these switches or used the existing ones.
I'm not sure if there was a trunk and hood switch or just a trunk switch.
Any ideas?
