Got a question for the experts.

I drove my 79 TA roughly 100 miles today.

1st 50 miles, I had no issues, last 50, oh boy!

Last 50, the only thing that changed was the headlights were on

When I got home, I pulled into the front yard car shut off, and it started getting into the driveway and shut off again.

Batte0ry? Altenator? Or sort issues with the lights?

Where to start troubleshooting first?

The first thing we would check is the battery voltage and check to make sure the battery under load doesn't fail.

How old is the battery?

Start with the easy stuff.

Thank you,

Thanks for getting back to me.

After charging all night, I did that yesterday, and the battery was 12.6.

I turned on the car showing 14.5 and with lights on 14.4.

Not sure how old the battery is; taking the battery out and having it load tested at the Auto zone to see.

A couple of buddies said it has a bad cell.

Thanks again.
