I am looking for recommendations for electric fuel pumps to convert to put in my 350cu (5.7L).

Converting due to difficulty starting after long periods and cutting out during idle (lack of fuel pressure).

I have considered changing the mechanical pump, but an acquaintance recommended an electric pump conversion would suit me more.

Maybe even a full carb conversion to Holley Sniper EFI?

Currently running a 2-barrel Edelbrock carb which I may switch to a 4-barrel.

My mechanical knowledge is limited, but I am looking to learn with this project.

I would suggest an in-tank setup, and the pump will run cooler and last longer.

Also, when doing that, I would take the time to upgrade any rubber hose in the fuel system; for one, it's old, and two, it does not like ethanol.

I think you would like the sniper friends of mine run them and have had no issues.
