Well, here you go, the only difference that I can tell is the aftermarket fuel sending unit is a little higher than the original AC one. When I installed the new one it seems to fit good, it touches the body on the squeak preventers and not high centered on the sending unit. HOWEVER, the...- Rockinron77

I have recently purchased a 77 Trans AM 3 months ago. I think it is the best looking car ever made. However, she needs work. I am trying to replace the gas tank with an aftermarket one along with a new sending unit. I cannot figure out why the straps seem too short to install it back in...- Rockinron77
